After the difficult year of 2020, Indianola Parks and Recreation is focusing on the positives of what they accomplished during the pandemic. Indianola Parks and Rec Director Doug Bylund tells KNIA News despite all the safety protocols, his staff still found ways to host altered events, and accomplish their goal of providing activities and opportunities for entertainment for the Indianola Community. Bylund also said the parks and trails around the area saw more activity this season than ever, as residents found ways to take advantage of one of the few ways to find entertainment that was still fully available.
