The Knoxville City Council will return to meeting in person for members who are comfortable doing so. Interim City Manager Heather Ussery says this will be a phased effort.

“For staff, mayor and council who feel comfortable meeting in person, we will start having meetings at the public library. They have a larger space where we’re still able to socially distance. We will still have Zoom as an option for those who prefer to do that.”

While some council members will meet in person, the public will not be invited to attend at this time. This takes effect at the next meeting, which is Monday, February 1st. Hear all Knoxville City Council meetings on 95.3 KNIA.
