The Pella City Council is moving ahead with several initiatives to support the new Lely North America Headquarters development, including infrastructure upgrades.

City Administrator Mike Nardini says a contract with Synergy Contracting, LLC was approved for east interchange infrastructure improvements at their meeting Tuesday evening.

Council approved the bid submitted for $696,709, which came in well below the engineers’ estimate for construction of a submersible lift station and associated improvements south of Highway 163 on 250th Avenue.
