For just the second and final time in the month of January, all three PCM Winter sports teams will be in action today. The PCM basketball teams will host a double header against Nevada while the wrestling squad heads to Greene County for the Heart of Iowa Conference meet.

The Mustangs girls and boys will be playing in their first revenge game of the season against the Cubs in a matchup that was delayed one week due to weather. In their first conference matchup of the season, the PCM girls lost 48-29 and the boys fell in a classic 64-62. Both teams are coming off Senior Night wins Tuesday against Saydel. Action from Monroe begins at 6:30.

The Mustang wrestling team is coming off nearly a week’s rest as they compete in their annual conference meet at Greene County. In a 13 team field last Saturday, PCM had a solid outing resulting in a 5th place finish and 109 total points at Centerville. Friday’s meet will feature eight schools with festivities from Jefferson beginning at 5:00.

Check back tomorrow for full recaps of a busy Friday for Mustang athletics.
