The Central women’s basketball team returns to action tonight for its second game of the shortened season. It’s another road trip, as the Dutch travel to Storm Lake to take on Buena Vista. Central picked up a win by the slimmest of margins in its Saturday opener at Dubuque, and will look to clean things up after committing 31 turnovers in that game.

The Beavers will open their season this evening, as Saturday’s game at Loras was postponed. BVU has struggled over the past few years, and has not defeated an NCAA opponent since February 2019. Only one senior returns to this year’s roster. Central has won two straight in the series, including three of the last four. The Dutch earned a 77-58 win in last year’s regular season finale against the Beavers.
