A 60th Marion County death due to COVID-19 was confirmed to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database Thursday. However, new cases and hospitalizations continue to remain much lower than peak numbers in November and December. There have been 58 new positive cases of COVID-19, and Marion County Public Health considered 3,147 residents to have recovered. There are four individuals locally hospitalized with the virus.
