According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has been affected by 4,821 cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, a growth of 65 cases since the February 1st update. Active cases are significantly down since the latest update with 791, down 76 since the latest update and the lowest early January.
The Iowa Department of Public Health shows two Long Term Care outbreaks in the county, and 62 deaths associated with the virus, an additional three since the latest update. Fifty-eight deaths had COVID-19 as the underlying cause, with four with the virus as a contributing factor.
