The Knoxville Recreation Center was recently named Marion County’s best place for indoor recreation in the Best of Red Rock Area awards. Director Brandon Nemmers thanks the community for the support, and credits his staff for creating a great atmosphere in the facility.

“We’ve got to give credit to the public, coming out and patronizing us, voting for us, my staff for making all these things happen around here. It takes a lot of people to keep the place open and running. It’s a big group effort. The people that patronize us, we really appreciate the support.”

It’s the third straight year the center has been recognized with the honor. Hear more from Knoxville Parks & Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers on Monday’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
