Absences remained largely steady in the Pella Community School District this week. Among students, 1.9% of students missed class for any reason, which is slightly above the previous seven day average–however, no staff members missed work for a COVID-19 related reason over the past five days. One student has a confirmed positive COVID-19 test and 0.5% of the district population was in quarantine Friday due to a possible close contact to the virus.

In the latest weekly report from Central College, five individuals had a positive test between February 15 to 21 and 39 were possibly exposed and in quarantine during that week.
