While much of the scoring punch for the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will leave after graduation ceremonies this spring, there are a few parts to work with that are capable of either handling expanded roles or new roles in 2021/2022. Interim Coach Matt Ritchhart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that Luke Keitges will likely be the center of all opposing team’s scouting reports next year, and Jack Bertrand may have an expanded role in the post as he was able to get playing time as a freshman this season.

Ritchhart:
“Luke is going to be returning and he’ll be the focus of all team’s scouting reports, and Jack returning has no idea how good he can be if he puts in the work in the offseason, which he will.”

Ritchhart adds Kaden McGill, Emmett Schmidt ,and Carson Uitermarkt could get bigger roles when the new season comes around. Knoxville finished with a 13-8 record.
