Central College seniors Adam Flinn and Caden Mauck were named to the American Rivers men’s basketball all-conference squad.

Flinn, a 6-foot guard, was a first-team pick while Mauck, a 6-6 forward, was tabbed for the second team. The Missouri tandem lettered four years and served as the team’s co-captains. Flinn, a second-team honoree in 2020, scored 1,032 points in his career, ranking 25th on Central’s all-time list. He averaged 20.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals. He shot 41.7% from the floor, 42.9% from 3-point range and 81.8% from the free throw line. Flinn hit a team-high 21 3-point goals.

Mauck averaged 11.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He shot 42.7% from the field and 58.6% from the free throw line. He had three statistical double-doubles, giving him 14 for his career.

In a modified season with numerous health-related stops and starts, the Dutch finally opened Feb. 3, posting a 3-4 record. They reached the semifinals of the American Rivers tournament to gain a top-four finish in the league.
