There have been 25 new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County over the past week, according to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database. Eighty-six cases are considered active and infectious, and no county residents are currently hospitalized with the virus according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The number of residents receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is approaching the 10,000 threshold this week. In total, 6,477 have completed either a two-shot series or received the Johnson and Johnson one-dose vaccine, and 3,432 have received the first dose of Pfizer or Moderna.
