The Norwalk girls golf team begins its season today, hosting an invitational. The Warriors are the only local school competing, and will host five other schools from the metro. Head Coach Steve Wermerskirchen says that especially early on, the focus is on getting swings in against opponents.

Action begins at 8:30 a.m. at Willow Creek Golf Course in West Des Moines.
