Pella High Graduate Jenna Murphy, now with Iowa Wesleyan University, was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Murphy led the conference in digs this season with 286. She averaged 5.40 digs per set and reached the 20 dig mark in seven matches this season including a high of 35. Murphy was an All-Little Hawkeye Conference selection with the Lady Dutch in her senior season, and was a key member of two state tournament teams in 2015 and 2016. She had 1063 career digs as a four year member of the varsity roster.
