After two weeks of practice, Pleasantville’s golf teams will begin final preparations for their first meet of the season at home.
Just with any sports team, it is going to be an important first meet since the spring sports season was shut down last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This meet will also be the first co-ed meet of the season for Pleasantville, and they will be going against conference foes ACGC, Madrid, and West Central Valley. Boys Coach Chuck Sinclair tells KNIA Sports that he is looking to put forth the best lineup that he can out there.
“Somewhere in the next couple of weeks, we have to find three kids that can compete, so it will be an interesting couple weeks before the first quad.”
The Trojans’ coed golf meet will be at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club at 4:00 PM.
