A Pella man died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash over the weekend. Troy Shaffer was involved in a collision on 10 a.m. Saturday north of Arlington. According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Shaffer was driving southbound on D Avenue when he lost control on a curve. He was transported to Mercy One in Oelwein, where he was later pronounced dead.
