There have been 21 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Marion County over the first week of April to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database. In total, 59 are considered active and infectious by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Two residents are hospitalized with the virus. The latest vaccination numbers include 7,390 individuals completing a two-shot series or receiving the one-dose Johnson and Johnson shot, with another 3,119 residents initiating either the Moderna or Pfizer process.
