The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session today. A public hearing will be held concerning the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 certified budget. Business Manager Craig Mobley says he expects a positive outcome.
“We will have our public hearing for our Fiscal Year 2021-2022 certified budget. I’m happy to report that preliminary indications show that our tax rate will drop by a nickel per $1,000 of assessed value.”
Also on the agenda is consideration of dance team fundraising, an agreement with Knoxville Area Community Theatre, the Cardinal School District’s request to join the South Central Conference, a board policy reading, and additional building project proposals.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. inside the Knoxville Schools Administration Building.
