The Pella School Board will review upcoming projects from their Physical Plant and Equipment Levy and Secure an Advanced Vision for Education funds at their work session on Monday.
A presentation will be given about total revenue for the resources and planned expenses in technology, maintenance, and transportation projects. In total, the district will receive $1.07 million dollars, with plans to spend $765,000. The proposal for the board to consider includes expansion of live streaming and video production this upcoming academic year, various smaller building projects, and two new buses. Additionally, the funds include a $150,000 appropriation resurfacing of turf football field, $125,000 for tennis courts, and $20,000 for the track, and this is the 2nd year of savings for those future projects.
Resolutions to increase compensation for nutrition workers, consider a choir/orchestra trip in 2022, create lifestyle savings accounts for employees, and approve a sharing facilities agreement with Lynnville-Sully are also on the agenda.
