The Indianola girls golf team placed 7th at the Jaguar Invitational in their season opener Monday afternoon at the Briarwood Country Club. They will next golf Thursday at Beaver Creek Golf Course against Dallas Center-Grimes and Newton.

The Indianola girls and boys tennis squads are in action today against Oskaloosa, with the boys at home and the girls on the road in Little Hawkeye Conference action beginning at 4:15pm for both matches. The Indians boys track and field squad is competing at a meet at Northview Middle School in Ankeny hosted by the Hawks at 4:30pm, while the girls and boys soccer squads are also competing tonight against Pella Christian, with the boys in the Pella Soccer Complex starting at 5:30pm and the girls hosting at 6pm. Girls soccer head coach Mackenzie Stump tells KNIA Sports she is happy with the way the team prepared for the season, and is excited for the growth she has seen in the last several years since taking over.
