The Pella boys track and field team impressed among some of the top teams in Iowa at the Waukee Invitational Thursday night.

A Blue Standard and School Record were both shattered in the same race by the 4×800 Relay of Josiah Wittenberg, Karl Miller, Chase Lauman, and Tony Schmitz with a time of 7:56.26, meaning the group automatically qualified for the Drake Relays.

As a team, Pella scored 147 team points and won the A Varsity division among the 12 team field split in half by school size.
