The Indianola girls golf team placed third at the Ames Turk Bowman Invite Monday morning. The Indians shot a team score of 421, finishing behind Marshalltown and the host Little Cyclones. The Indians will next golf today against Norwalk and Oskaloosa at Willow Creek Golf Course beginning at 4:15pm.
The Indianola girls soccer team fell to Nevada 4-1 Monday evening in a non-conference tilt. The Indians trailed just 1-0 at halftime to the Cubs, but was outscored 3-1 in the second half with Abby Jensen getting a goal from a free kick. The Indians fall to 3-4 on the season, and will next play Grinnell tonight.
