Pella Christian’s boys golf team placed fifth in the PCM invitational Monday, finishing with a score of 356.

The Eagles finished nine strokes ahead of Chariton and seven strokes behind fourth-place Bondurant-Farrar. Gabe Huisken finished as the low golfer for Pella Christian with an 80, good enough for fifth overall individually. Isaiah Breems was second on the team and seventh overall with a score of 85. The goal for the Eagles was to get below 375 in the 18-hole meet, and they got 19 strokes lower than their ideal score.

Pella Christian’s next meet of the season is today when they travel to Oskaloosa. The meet will begin at 2:00 PM.
