Shop Local Saturday takes place this week in Indianola, a day set aside for Indianola and area residents to shop at the various businesses on the downtown Indianola square and surrounding area. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News that every dollar spent here in Indianola stays here, and goes to our local schools, roads, trails, and more, all for the betterment of the community. The Indianola Chamber is also asking people to share their experiences from shop local Saturday on social media. The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on location on the downtown Indianola Square, playing music for shoppers.
