The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad fell to Pella Christian 1-0 last night at Ken Locke Stadium. Knoxville gave up an early goal by Joslyn Terpstra off of a free kick, and both teams played well on defense the rest of the way. Panthers Coach Matt Ritchhart told KNIA/KRLS Sports goalie Abby Wadle played extremely well in the loss. Eagles Head Coach Mike Buchheit says goal keeper Lydia Zylstra made a game winning save in the final two minutes of regulation on an impressive Knoxville shot at the goal. The 4-4 Eagles are back in action today at Newton at 5:30 p.m., while the 5-5 Panthers are on the road to Centerville late this afternoon.
