Pleasantville Girls Golf Finish Second in Conference Tournament

Pleasantville’s girls golf team finished the conference tournament on a high note as they placed second with a score of 414, finishing just behind Van Meter.

The Trojans had two golfers finish with a score lower than 100. Breanna Benge was the low golfer for Pleasantville as she finished with a 95. The second-lowest golfer was Kristen Roe, who finished with a score of 98. Benge and Roe finished fifth and sixth individually in the tournament overall. With their finish, both Benge and Roe finished with first-team all-conference honors.

This meet was the final meet of the season for Pleasantville, as regional action will begin in two weeks.

Pleasantville Coed Track has Conference Tournament at Van Meter

Both of Pleasantville’s track squads will begin postseason play as they travel to Van Meter for the West Central Conference tournament.

Pleasantville’s girls are coming off finishing eighth in their last meet at West Marshall, finishing one point ahead of Baxter. The Trojans’ boys are coming off finishing second in the Mustang Invitational Thursday, finishing behind just the host, PCM.

The meet will begin at 4:30 PM at Van Meter High School.
