As of Monday, 11,600 Marion County residents were fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The Iowa Department of Public Health reports that equates to 47% of the adult population locally and 36% of all residents. Additionally, another 1,484 individuals have initiated a two-shot series and are awaiting a second dose of either Pfizer or Moderna. There is one resident currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
