A state qualifying wrestler and recent Pella High School graduate will continue his athletic career into college. Ryan Van Donselaar signed his National Letter of Intent to wrestle at Northern Iowa Area Community College this upcoming fall. The Trojans are based in Mason City and have had 10 individual NCJAA champions on their roster since 2008. Van Donselaar was a podium finisher at the 2021 State Wrestling Meet, placing 6th in Class 3A at 160 pounds.
