The Knoxville Baseball Squad will get a significant challenge tonight when Class 4A #4 Dowling Catholic out of the Central Iowa Metro League comes to Panther Drive. The Maroons have been very good this season sporting a 28-7 record, and finishing 2nd in the CIML Central standings. The Panthers are 17-17 and their goal of getting 20 wins this season hit a snag last night after their game against Fairfield was cancelled because of unplayable field conditions. Devore tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they still have a chance to finish out with a 500 record.

Devore:
“Dowling Catholic is going to present a challenge we haven’t seen this year yet, and getting a chance to get a 20th win in the postseason, we’d definitely take it.”

Tonight starts with J-V at 5:30 with varsity at 7:30 on Panther Drive in Knoxville
