Pleasantville’s baseball squad will look to continue their season as they go on the road against West Central Conference foe Des Moines Christian tonight.

The Trojans are coming off beating PCM in their first-round playoff matchup Saturday night. Pleasantville used a six-run sixth inning to pull away from the Mustangs. This will be Pleasantville’s third matchup with the Lions. The Trojans split their games with Des Moines Christian. Pleasantville knocked off the Lions in extra innings when they were undefeated and ranked No. 2 in class 2A June 7. The second matchup was a close loss on June 28. Coach Sheldon Card states that it comes down to fundamentals to advance in the playoffs.

The matchup will begin at Des Moines Christian High School at 7:00 PM.
