The Norwalk softball team’s season has come to a close, but Warrior fans have reason for optimism moving forward. This year’s hitting leader was freshman Jaylynn Brandt, who quickly made her mark on the program, proving herself as a threat at the plate early in the season with clutch hit after clutch hit.

Brandt led the team with 46 base hits, and also led the team in RBI’s with 28. She earned the respect of opposing pitchers with 18 walks on the season, and only struck out 16 times. Norwalk finished the season 23-16 overall, and graduates six seniors.
