The softball diamond provides us with our number three moment of the Twin Cedars sports year. The Twin Cedars softball team won their third consecutive Bluegrass Conference Championship with a 10-0 victory over Lamoni on July 2nd. 

Grace Bailey dominated on the softball diamond to help the Sabers lock up their third straight conference title. Bailey threw just 48 pitches in six shutout innings of two-hit softball, and went 4-4 at the plate with two triples and a double. Ali Mockenhaupt went 2-4 with a triple and two RBIs and Rylee Dunkin also went 2-4 with a triple and two stolen bases. The Sabers finished the year with a 44-1 record in Bluegrass conference games in the last three years.
