Myles Michael Murphy, age 85, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away, with his family, Tuesday morning, at his residence in Knoxville. Visitation for Myles will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Knoxville from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Myles’ family will be present to greet friends and relatives from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a Vigil Service held at 7:00 P.M. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. also at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, with a luncheon to follow. Following the luncheon, burial, with military honors, will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in rural Knoxville. In lieu of flowers a memorial may be given in Myles’ memory to Everystep Hospice of Knoxville or the Knoxville Township Fire Department.
