
Pleasantville’s boys’ and girls’ cross country squads both finished fourth in their second meet of the season at Central Decatur.
The Trojans’ boys finished fourth out of six teams, finishing ahead of Clarke and Southeast Warren. The boys’ top runner was freshman Kurt Kuhnen, who finished with a time of 19:51.95. Finishing second on the Trojans was junior Jenkin Fulmer, who was right behind Kuhnen in the individual times with 19:53.78.
The Trojans’ girls finished fourth out of five teams, finishing ahead of Wayne. The girls’ top runner was freshman Kyleigh McConnell with a time of 24:25.29. The top three was rounded out by sophomore Madilyn Rowson and junior Azell Smith with times of 26:39.83 and 26:47.82, respectively.
Pleasantville will have a full week off to prepare for their next meet, which is their home meet Monday.
