The Friends of Warren County Conservation annual Prairie Picnic is this evening, supporting environmental education programming and exhibits at the Annett Nature center. Co-Director Karen Johlas-Szalkowski tells KNIA News this year’s event includes an evening BBQ meal, live music, and the silent auction items will be displayed and available for bidding. The online auction is currently underway, running until September 19th, with the picnic taking place on Saturday at 5pm.
