After the PCM Invitational was postponed Monday night, the Pella Christian and PCM Cross Country teams made up that meet Tuesday.

The Pella Christian boys squad celebrated moving up to #16 in the Iowa Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings, by finishing second in the meet. The Eagles posted three of the top five finishers in the race, led by Danny Andringa who placed third. Kyle Sanders led the Mustangs in the boys meet with a 19th place finish.

In the girls meet, one point separated Pella Christian and PCM as the Eagles placed third overall, and the Mustangs finished in fourth place. Jaclyn Holmes posted a seventh place finish to lead the Pella Christian girls squad. For the Mustangs, Paige Steenhoek netted a top 10 placement, finishing the race in 10th place.

The Eagles have the next week off before returning to competition Tuesday September 28th in the Knoxville meet at Pine Knolls Golf Course. The Mustangs also have a week off before competing Tuesday in the Williamsburg Invitational at Williamsburg Recreation Center.
