The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They entered into an agreement with Skinner & Paschke PLLC for lobbying services, as well as a 28E agreement with the Iowa DNR for private well construction and reconstruction. They received a presentation from Engineer Tyler Christian about fuel logistics for county departments, with no action taken. Chris Nesteby gave an update on the VA campus demolition. Buildings 27 and 28 have been demolished, and the project continues to go as planned. Auditor Jake Grandia presented a notice of equalization, noting a six percent equalization order for all county residential values.

The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be October 26th at 9:00 a.m.
