Pleasantville’s volleyball squad will finish their regular season with a triangular at West Central Valley, while the Trojans’ cross country squads will take a trip to Lake Panora for the West Central Conference Meet.

The Trojans’ volleyball squad will finish the regular season with a triangular against the host and ACGC. Pleasantville comes into the triangular with a chance to finish the season with a .500 West Central Conference record. The Trojans currently stand at 14-17 on the season with a 3-5 record in Conference play. Pleasantville is coming off of a tough showing at the Martensdale-St. Mary’s Tournament last weekend, finishing 0-5. The triangular will begin with a match against West Central Valley at 5:00 PM.

The Trojans’ cross country squad finished the regular season with fourth and seventh-place finishes at Nodaway Valley. The Trojans’ girls’ top finisher was Riley Thill, who placed 37th with a time of 26:26. The Trojans’ boys’ top finisher was Jenkin Fulmer, who placed 11th with a time of 20:22. Pleasantville will go up against some difficult competition, as four teams in the conference are currently ranked in the top five in the state.

The meet at Lake Panora today will begin at 5:00 PM.
