The Indianola girls swimming team hosts the Toreadors of Boone in their regular season finale today at the Indianola YMCA. The Indians are coming off of a second place finish at the Little Hawkeye Conference last week, and have already matched up with Boone several times this season finishing ahead of the Toreadors in several tournaments. Senior Ali Borgmeyer tells KNIA Sports the team wants to build on their conference meet performance and clean things up before regionals.

“We did really well but I think there are a few things we can focus on and hit and hopefully do a little bit better so we can come back at regionals. I think there were a few events we slipped up at, so we have some goals ahead of us to work on.”

Swimming starts tonight at 5:30pm.
