indianola-3

The Indianola football team will face a familiar opponent in round one of postseason play tomorrow evening at the Indianola stadium, as district opponent Carlisle makes the short trip over. The Wildcats snuck in as the 16th seed in class 4A RPI with a 5-4 record, and the Indians have already dispatched Carlisle 38-14 in their previous matchup in week 7 where Bennett Brueck threw for three touchdowns. Head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports Carlisle has five players who have rushed for over 200 yards, and is not an offense that is easy to stop. Carlisle upset Norwalk after their loss to Indianola, as well as won over Perry to secure their spot in postseason play.
