Going 1-8 is not the definition of a fun season, but the Knoxville Football Squad endured a difficult season from the start to finish with that record. Several things contributed to that record and while it was a struggle, Interim Head Coach Chris Hudson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the coaching staff had to still make the experience at practice enjoyable for the players.

Hudson: “Who knows what is going to happen and what it’s going to look like. I know from my experience in 26 years of coaching, you have to make them believe why they’re there and make them have fun.”

Hudson said the players responded well after Eric Kellar’s resignation after week six. The Panthers will be under a new head coach next season and the search is ongoing by Knoxville Schools
