Several Pella students earned recognition for their singing as part of the OPUS Honor Choir. Over 2100 students were nominated by their directors for 720 positions in four performing groups.

The following Pella Middle School Students were selected:

Jack Brown
Eric Buckingham
Abbie Brand
Joeley Helle
Rheanna DeVries

Additionally, Bella DeHaan of Pella Christian Grade School and Pella High School 9th Grader Nora Ausman were also chosen.

Pella High School Teacher Samantha Robillard directed the 9th Grade Mixed Honor Choir. The Opus Honor Choir Festival is made possible by the Iowa Choral Directors Association.
