twin-cedars-4

The Zack Dunkin Era at Twin Cedars got off on the right foot Tuesday night with a 40-23 win at Orient-Macksburg in girls basketball. The Sabers started off slow offensively, leading just 17-9 at halftime, but relaxed in the 2nd half and pulled away from the Bulldogs. Rylee Dunkin led the Sabers with 17 points and Jetta Sterner scored 12. Dunkin told KNIA/KRLS Sports that while Cheyanne Bruns and Kisha Reed went scoreless, their defensive efforts were outstanding. The Sabers are 1-0 and will host Wayne next Tuesday.
