Both Pleasantville and Knoxville’s wrestling squads will travel down Interstate-92 today for their first major tournament of the season at Nodaway Valley.

The Panthers are coming off a dominant dual win over Nevada Thursday night thanks to six victories by fall and Nevada being short on numbers. Knoxville’s Luke Spaur, Kale Kincaid, and Steven Metcalf all won by fall in less than a minute. Knoxville will have South Central Conference opponent Clarke to compete in the Coach Riley Invitational. Pleasantville is coming off going 3-0 in their first quadrangular of the season at Martensdale-St. Mary’s with wins over the host, Southeast Warren, and Moravia. Pleasantville will compete against West Central Conference opponents Earlham and AC/GC.

The Coach Riley Invitational at Nodaway Valley gets underway today at 9:00 AM.
