Lorretta Jo Sytsma, age 66, of Oskaloosa, died Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa after her battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 6, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Oskaloosa. A social hour will be held in the church fellowship hall on Monday at 12:00 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family will be at the Bates Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening, December 5, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the Blank Children’s Hospital.
