The Indianola girls basketball team makes a road trip west tonight, traveling to Council Bluffs to compete against the Titans of Lewis Central. The #2 Indians are 3-0 to start the season, and will face a Lewis Central team that struggled to start the season but righted the ship as of late winning a pair of games over the past week. Indianola has improved the shooting percentages in each game this season, and head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports shots from the free throw line and finishing at the basket will be areas the Indians need to continue to execute and improve upon if they want to be a top team. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30pm.
