The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads play in a rare Thursday night contest at Seymour. The boys are young and not big on experience. Coach John Suntken tells KNIA Sports his guys who are mostly freshmen and sophomores are going to have to learn the game quickly, playing at the varsity level.

Suntken: “You get to play the best of the best in that class or school, and we’re just going to have to step up our game and pick up the pace and just learn, learn the game.”

The girls take on a Seymour squad that has raced out to a winning record this year. The girls game is set to get underway at 6:00.
