Four Knoxville School District employees will retire at the end of the school year. Superintendent Cassi Pearson congratulates those who were approved for early retirement.

“We congratulate Kurt Wallace, Carolyn Jones, Brian Barkey and Kenton Reed. We still have the applications open, so anyone else who’s interested and qualifies for that package can turn in their interest letter by December 30th. There’s a possibility the board could accept those at our January meeting.”

Wallace is a social studies teacher, Jones is a counselor, Barkey is an art teacher, and Reed is a custodian. The early retirement packages were accepted at the most recent school board meeting.
