The annual winter closure of Pella Historical Society and Museums will begin after their final day open on December 30th.

Executive Director Valerie Van Kooten says this year marks the return of Windmill Winterim, with sign ups now available for the public, and includes several educational and fun activities for adults to learn more about the community’s Dutch heritage..

The Pella Historical Village and Vermeer Windmill traditionally reopen by the first day of spring in March.
