The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization has announced its 10th annual fundraiser, featuring silent and live auctions with food and drinks available. Co-organizer Maureen Nichols says this event helps the organization do their part in promoting driver safety at Knoxville Raceway.

“This fundraiser we have every year helps everyone get back into the racing mode. Drivers come and donate items to be auctioned off, race fans get together, we have amazing things for sale in the auctions. This helps raise money so we can buy safety equipment throughout the year. If a driver is hurt while racing, either at Knoxville or another track, we can help them with medical bills if needed. It’s a fun day to get together, see drivers they haven’t seen in a while, and promote safe racing at Knoxville.”

Donations are being accepted, and can include a variety of items, such as gift certificates, race memorabilia, gift baskets, t-shirts, cash donations, event tickets and more. The event is Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at Dyer-Hudson Hall. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., a meal begins at 5:00, and the live auction begins at 7:00.
